  Rotary kiln It refers to rotary calcining kiln (commonly known as rotary kiln), belonging to the category of building materials and equipment. Cement kiln and chemical kiln can be divided into different materials. Cement kilns are mainly used to calcine cement clinker, which are divided into two categories: dry cement kilns and wet cement kilns. Metallurgical chemical kilns are mainly used for magnetization roasting of lean iron ore in iron and steel plants in metallurgical industry; oxidation roasting of chromite and nickel iron ore; roasting of high alumina bauxite ore and clinker and aluminum hydroxide in refractory plant; roasting of chrome ore sand and chrome ore powder in chemical plant. Rotary kiln in building materials, metallurgy, chemical industry, environmental protection and many other production industries, rotary drum equipment is widely used for mechanical, physical or chemical treatment of solid materials. In 1824, J. aspur, a British cement worker, invented the intermittent operation earth shaft kiln; in 1883, Dietrich, Germany, invented the continuous operation multi-layer shaft kiln; in 1885, the Englishman eransome invented the rotary kiln, which was put into production after obtaining patents in Britain and the United States, and soon obtained considerable economic benefits. 1. Its technical performance and operation condition, to a great extent, determine the quality, output and cost of enterprise products. The ballad "as long as the kiln is turned, there will be tens of millions" is a vivid description of the importance of rotary kiln in production.
2. In the building materials industry, in addition to calcining cement clinker, rotary kiln is also used to calcine clay, limestone and slag drying; in the production of refractory materials, rotary kiln is used to calcine raw materials to stabilize the size, increase the strength, and then process and shape.
3. In the process of beneficiation, the lean iron ore is magnetized and roasted in a rotary kiln, so that the original weak magnetism of the ore is changed into strong magnetism, which is beneficial to magnetic separation.
4. In chemical industry, soda is produced by rotary kiln, phosphate fertilizer and barium sulfide are burned. In the 1960s, lapple in the United States invented a new process of producing phosphoric acid with rotary kiln. This method has the advantages of low energy consumption, less power consumption, no sulfuric acid and low and medium grade phosphate rock.
5. The whole production process of cement is summarized as "two grinding and one sintering", in which "one burning" refers to the process in which raw material prepared by grinding is burnt into clinker under the high temperature of rotary kiln. Therefore, rotary kiln is the main engine of cement production, commonly known as the "heart" of cement factory.
6. In terms of environmental protection, developed countries in the world have used cement kilns to incinerate hazardous waste and garbage for more than 20 years.
