          Rotary kiln for laterite nickel ore It is an ideal equipment for nickel ore calcination. It is mainly composed of kiln head, kiln body, kiln tail, rotary kiln support frame, preheating tower and cooler, with simple and reasonable structure.

Performance features:

         1. Energy saving: the main energy source for smelting laterite nickel ore in rotary kiln is coal rather than expensive coke or electric energy.
         2. Wide range of materials: raw materials for production of laterite nickel ore rotary kiln can be freely selected, and various laterite nickel ores from Southeast Asia can be used.
         3. High production quality: ferronickel produced by laterite rotary kiln is of high quality, containing about 20% Ni, which can be directly used as raw material for stainless steel production.
         4. Diversified uses: the nickel products produced are more widely used and can be used as the coolant for molten steel melting.
Applicable materials:
         The cylinder body of laterite nickel mine rotary kiln is welded by carbon steel plate. The cylinder is supported on the supporting device through the wheel belt, and the hydraulic stop wheel is set on the supporting device to prevent the cylinder from axial movement during rotation. In order to prevent cold air from entering and flue gas dust overflowing from the cylinder, a sealing device is set at the inlet and outlet end of the cylinder in order to prevent cold air from entering and flue gas dust overflowing from the cylinder.

working principle:
The pretreatment step is to grind the raw laterite nickel ore, mix it with carbon bearing material and flux limestone, and then continuously feed it into the laterite nickel rotary kiln. In the rotary kiln of laterite nickel ore, the hot gas flow produced by the combustion of material and coal undergoes all smelting steps drying, dehydration, reduction and metal growth. In the rotary kiln, the metal produced by reduction is separated from the iron ore by the rotary kiln.
