        Rotary kiln equipment for pellet sintering The equipment is widely used for drying and calcining materials with certain particle size, such as mineral processing, building materials, metallurgy, chemical industry, etc.
With the development of metallurgical industry, there are higher requirements for the sintering technology of ferrochrome pellets. The sintering of ferrochrome pellets is a common metallurgical technology, and the production efficiency of this process is higher when it is applied to pellet.
 
Suitable places of pelletizing rotary kiln equipment:
1. Large scale metallurgical enterprises usually have their own mines, in which the developed iron concentrate is an important raw material for chromite pellet sintering process.
2. The iron concentrate produced by small enterprises is usually magnetite concentrate, in which the content of impurities such as phosphorus and sulfur is relatively low, and the grade of iron concentrate is generally about 63%. However, the iron concentrate produced by small enterprises is slightly coarse, so it needs to be finely ground if it is used in chromite pellet sintering process.
3. Hematite concentrate imported from abroad is also a common raw material in chromite pellet sintering process. Hematite concentrate also has high requirements for sintering temperature. In this case, various metallurgical enterprises combine hematite concentrate and magnetic concentrate one after another.

Rotary kiln equipment for pellet sintering technological process:
The raw ore is directly fed into the kiln tail of the rotary kiln through the electronic belt measuring scale, belt conveyor, stable silo and air lock valve from the storage, and only the stable silo is set at the kiln tail to reduce the investment. When the ore enters the rotary kiln, it is heated first. The raw ore moves reversely with the hot gas flow in the kiln. In the heating area, the raw ore is heated to the reduction temperature and then enters the reduction area. The temperature of the flame center in the reduction area is controlled at about 1000 ℃, and the temperature of the thermal atmosphere in the reduction area is controlled at about 700 ℃, which reacts with the reduction gas to form magnetite. After that, it enters the cooling belt and meets with the gas. The gas is preheated, and the ore is cooled and discharged out of the kiln. After being cooled by the continuous bucket conveyor, it is put into the storage for selection. Limonite rotary kiln mainly adopts block and powder mixed firing to reduce operation cost.
