Coffee | Bleak House Coffee

The smells of coffee  are in the air on the corner of 520 Madison and N.Huron street. Bleak House Coffee sits humbly in the front corner of the historic Spitzer building. You could feel the anticipation in the air on opening night as last minute details were being completed.

When you do decide to visit this amazing place, you will notice the unique and artistic touches like repurposed doors turned in to tables and succulent plants potted in vintage mason jars. One of the owners mentioned how they had a goal to recycle and repurpose as many materials as possible. The west wall is all chalk board where you will find a really cool mural done in chalk.

This coffee house is like no other in the Toledo area, and to me it feels like what I would imagine a little bistro in New York or Italy to be like.  The customer service was amazing!  And from the perspective of a person who loves good quality local, Bleak House Coffee makes me really happy. Also as a photographer this is just one more spot for me to sit down in relax, and enjoy a cup of joe while I work on edits or meet with clients. So all of you locals-go ahead if you haven’t already and take a trip to Bleak House Coffee-I don’t think you’ll be disappointed!  BLEAK HOUSE COFFEE
