      I am excited to announce that I am now photographing live birth sessions! Here are some shots of the first family I’ve worked with for baby Abel born this April. The family was great to work with and I really enjoyed capturing the priceless expressions on their faces-like the first moments of joy and excitement as they announced, “It’s a boy! ” WELCOME! // Baby Abel Henry Phillips born this morning at 2:40 a.m. and weighed a whopping 9 lbs 13 ozs. This was my first birth session and I enjoyed every moment of it– from capturing the expressions of anticipation of family members waiting at the door to hear baby’s first cry, to the baby’s tiny toes. This October, we ventured into the historic Old North End of Toledo to photograph April and Aaron’s big day. We were able to take lots of candid shots of the bride, groom and bridal parties getting ready and you could feel the excitement in the air. St. Hedwig’s church and school building were filled with lots of beautiful architectural details to create unique backdrops for our photos. And since the bride’s mother walked the stairs of the old school as a child, it helped create special memories for this family.
